''Film photography is gaining popularity among people that enjoy the process of making a photograph, it offers many aesthetic advantages to digital photography.  However it is difficult for PS1 to support film photography because of the need to provide a darkroom and equipment to support the traditional film process. However if we support a workflow that includes traditional film development, high quality scanning of the negatives to a digital file and photo quality printing,  PS1 could support film photography without a darkroom. We have a good photo quality printer, B&W film developing could be supported with a light proof desktop tent and <$400 of equipment. This proposal is to acquire good quality scanner to complete the process.''
