Word on the street is that the Jet wood lathe is not working for some reason as of April 25, 2017 but details have not yet been recorded here. If you learn about what is broken and why, what the plan is for fixing it etc., then please make a note in this section.
It works. Don't change the speed.
Brian is currently cheerleading the repairs to the lathe, if you search (the google group discussion) you will find a status update from him about it. TL;DR/TLTS: it works, don't change the speed.
