== Background ==
In 2014 a vote was proposed to create Membership Reward Points. The policy and mechanism are no longer applicable in several ways. Tracking needs to be adjusted/implemented properly. Area hosts and volunteers handle the problem of authorization backup differently than this policy proposes.
